Cosmetic acupuncture is a centuries old form of treatment originating in the Imperial court and used to combat the aging process. Acupuncture points are selected to address
the individual’s constitution, to stimulate the flow of energy (qi) and to improve blood circulation. Facial rejuvenation treatment achieves subtle and natural results; patients often say they
look 5 – 15 years younger after treatment.
Facial rejuvenation can help the skin appear firmer and younger, enhance and even out natural coloring, improve muscle tone, diminish the appearance of deep wrinkles, eliminate fine lines, lessen bags under the eyes, reduce drooping eyelids and the appearance of double chin. It is believed to help regulate and regenerate skin cells and increase the production of collagen.
Generally, successful facial rejuvenation requires a series of 12-15 treatments. After completion of the series, refresher treatments every 3-6 weeks generally maintain the effects for 3-5 years. Each patient’s needs are different and can be evaluated in a free consultation with a recommendation for an individualized treatment plan.
